Background:

An internal audit at Nemours Children's Health System revealed myriad (and many) discrepancies in areas of timekeeping (51 definitions of overtime, for example), personnel approval, payroll data integrity, definitions of a shift, etc. All associates were affected, most notably nursing staff. This plan approached the changes strategically, thoughtfully and in a measured way by analyzing impacts and adjusting the timing of changes and related messaging.

Background:

The employee engagement survey at Nemours Children's Health System revealed high dissatisfaction with internal communications that was impacting employee morale, engagement and even retention. This plan resulted in a complete overhaul of internal communications:  revamping the communications paradigm for more two-way dialogue between senior leaders and employees, rich media channels, more frequent manager communications and a simplification (reducing overload) of corporate emails.

Background:

Like many hospitals during the 2000's, Nemours Children's Health System realized that it needed to operate, simply put, more like a business. The rollout of a Strategy Management System was a profound change for everyone, especially doctors. This plan approached the deployment of this new reality in a matter-of-fact way but also with great sensitivity.
